Headquartered in Dallas, Texas Applegate Petroleum
Management was formed to coordinate private equity raising activities
for Platina. Since its inception in 2007, it has interfaced with
investors and lending sources to facilitate transactions worth
almost $2 million.
Although initially set up to cater to individual limited partnership
interests, the Company has been successful in a hybrid of several
venues allowing for continued strategic growth through access
to unconventional capital sources.
In most every case, either institutional or accredited investors
have been the primary participants but together have brought
considerable interest and attention to Platina.
The Company anticipates potential investment programs for 2008
to exceed $10 million, allowing for even more exponential growth.
Unlike the traditional corporate structure of just acquiring
shares, potential investors can reap fiscal returns from oil
and gas revenues through participation in drilling and production
activities. For many investors, a combination of stock appreciation
and cash flow better suits their investment goals.
Additionally, the Federal Government has allocated considerable
incentives to potential investors in oil and gas encompassing
intangible drilling expenses and depreciation as well as depletion
allowances over relatively short periods. This can give considerable
advantages in tax savings over other investment strategies. |
